Nicknamed “the extreme gem” Peridot (Pair-uh-doe) is born of fire and brought to light. These Gems are formed not in the Earth's crust, but rather in the molten rock of the upper mantle. Earthquakes and Volcanoes create the tremendous thrust that carries these beauties to the surface. Only one other Gem is created this way; you guessed it! It's a Diamond.
